HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The USM Golden Eagles are going bowling...and they are taking WDAM with them!

WDAM has exclusively teamed up with USM to give viewers a back stage pass leading up to the moment The Eagles hit the field for The Heart of Dallas Bowl.

During this takeover, USM fans will see updates every step of the way as the football players meet the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, volunteer at the VA hospital, all the way up to the second the players start chanting the fight song as they take the field.

Of course, we don't want to say too much, but also expect to see some surprises along the way!

The takeover begins on Wednesday December 23rd when the team arrives in Dallas.

To see what the players are up to, all you have to do is go follow WDAM on Instagram here.

Don't have an Instagram? No problem! Viewers can also follow us on our Facebook and Twitter pages to see what the team is up to on, and off the field.

WDAM's Taylor Halsey will also be with the team every step of the way. You can follow her on Facebook and Twitter.

As always, don't forget to tune in this week to the sports segment of WDAM's 6 o'clock edition and 10 p.m. Nightbeat to see Taylor's exclusive coverage of the game.

We invite you on this journey with us as we take a front seat to see The Golden Eagle football team like we have never seen them before!
