HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hattiesburg native and former teacher Dr. Otha Sullivan's newest book titled "African American Achievement Stamped Through History" features a complete history of African Americans honored on U.S. postage stamps From Booker T. Washington in 1940 to Maya Angelou in 2015.

Sullivan desired to create something unique for his latest book, "I decided to do a book on African Americans who appear on stamps and it's never been done before."

The book costs $29.95 and is will soon be on sale at Amazon.com
