GRAPHIC: Jones County man jailed again for domestic violence

This is a news release from the Jones County Sheriff's Department. 

On Dec. 18, just after midnight, Jones County Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Thiac Drive, a home they had visited less than a week prior.

A third party informed Dispatch a fight was in progress, once again between Pitipong Daengbunga, 31, and his wife. 

When deputies arrived they witnessed Daengbunga and the victim in the doorway of the home with him on top of her. 

Deputies told him to get off of the victim and saw he was very bloody, but with no injuries of his own. 

Deputies quickly went to the aid of the victim who had disfiguring injuries to her face. 

Deputies took Daengbunga into custody. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital for immediate medical attention. 

Deputies discovered her eye completely removed from her head, lying on the ground at the scene. 

It also appeared the victim’s nose had been partially removed by some force.  

Daengbunga’s Initial Appearance at Jones County Justice Court is Friday at 1:30 p.m.  

He is charged with mayhem and attempt to commit an offense to wit first degree murder.

    The Mississippi Attorney General has joined a lawsuit against the Federal Communications Commission's rollback of net neutrality.
