A Former Miss Mississippi and nationally-known cable network TV host returned to her native Hattiesburg Thursday to speak about her and her husband's successful battles with cancer.
Nan Kelley, host of Great American Country's Top 20 Music Countdown, spoke on the topic of "One Couple, Two Cancers, Three Lessons" at Southern Oaks House and Gardens.
The event was sponsored by Forrest General Hospital's Spirit of Women.
Less than a decade ago, Kelley and her husband, Grammy-nominated musician and producer Charlie Kelley, were both diagnosed with different forms of cancer just a few months apart.
Both are now cancer-free.
The couple spoke about life lessons they have learned and also sang several songs together.
Nan Kelley also signed copies of a her new cookbook.
