HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

This is a news release from the Greater Pinebelt Community.

The See Spot Run Dog Park took another step forward with a generous donation from the Edward Gornak Foundation. The $15,000 donation was presented by Mike Gornak at the Plaid Rhino. See Spot Run Board President Carey Varnado said the donation comes at a pivotal time for the dog park project, which will be located at the corner of West Pine Street and 4th Avenue.  "This donation helps accelerate construction on the See Spot Run Dog Park, particularly as we near our fundraising goal," said Varnado. "We are grateful to the Gornak Family for their generosity and commitment to our community." The See Spot Run Dog Park is a project of the Greater Pinebelt Community Foundation. Community members wishing to donate to this project may do so by visiting pinebeltfoundation.org
