HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Some Southern Miss students took a few minutes between classes Thursday to learn more about presidential candidates and current political issues by taking a tour of the C-SPAN network's Campaign 2016 bus.

It made a brief stop at Southern Miss on its way to the Gulf Coast.

The vehicle includes several interactive features for students seeking information on presidential candidates and a small studio for live broadcasts.

The bus was in Jackson Wednesday and will be in New Orleans this weekend.
