The Greater PineBelt Community Foundation is concluding its Community Foundation Week celebration with its first ever Step Up for Your Community 5K Run/Walk, November 14th at 8:00 a.m. (registration begins at 7:00 a.m.) at the University of Southern Mississippi’s Payne Center. This family friendly event welcomes your entire family for a day of fun and community involvement with the Greater PineBelt Community Foundation. Join us and meet several of the Foundation’s Fund Representatives who will be present to showcase their nonprofit organization.
Those participating in the Extra Table Hunger Run later in the day will receive a registration discount (bring proof of registration). To pre-register, go to runsignup.com and search for Step Up For Your Community race or stop by the Payne Center to pick up a form. Pre-registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt and an opportunity to win several door prizes! To become a Friend of the Foundation, get a t-shirt and participate in the race the membership fee is $50. One-half of the proceeds will go to an unrestricted fund, the Pine Belt Community Enhancement Fund, to help with community needs; and, the other half will support the Pine Belt Endowment Fund (a gift that gives forever).
