Two Seminary officials resign, city cannot conduct business
The mayor's name has been removed from the Seminary Mayor's office building.

SEMINARY, MS (WDAM) - The town of Seminary may not have enough elected officials to conduct city business.

Two more alderman turned in resignations Tuesday.
According to pro-temp mayor Dawn Kelly, Freddy Bullock and David Altman quit during Tuesday night's regularly scheduled meeting.

These two new resignations comes less than a month after the town's mayor, town clerk, city attorney and one alderman resigned. With just two elected officials the city does not have a quorum, meaning it cannot conduct city business.
Kelly said she contacted the attorney general's office to determine the next step for the city.
It will take two special elections to fill all the vacant positions.
The first one is set for Dec. 15.
