HATTIESBURG, MS - The USM baseball and softball teams donned their best costumes at the third annual Trick-or-Treat at the Pete that took place Thursday at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.
"It's just a great time for our community. It's a great way to come out, feel safe, and enjoy some good wholesome fun," said USM Head Baseball Coach Scott Berry, disguised as Batman.
Halloween-themed games, such as musical chairs and dizzy bat were played throughout the event. The best costumes received prizes, and there was plenty of candy for all the trick-or-treaters.
Each Golden Eagle squad helped with the activities while wearing their favorite Halloween costumes.
"We want to win on the playing field, win in the classroom and win in the community," USM Softball Coach Wendy Hogue said.
