MARION COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A Marion County teen is faces charges after he crashed into a school bus Wednesday morning.
The crashed happened on Highway 35 North.
Sheriff's officials said 19-year-old Dexter Irvin hit the school bus just before 7 a.m.
Irvin suffered non-life threatening injuries.
No children were injured. The students not picked up by parents were safely transferred to another bus and taken to school.
The bus was stopped to pick up kids for school at the time of the accident. The bus driver noticed the car topping the hill too quickly and instructed the children on the other side of the road to stay put.
