The event was put on by the Pink Ribbon Fund in memory of Candy Anne Broom.
Several participants, including Race Coordinator Lauren Hill, raced in honor of a passed loved one.
"Today is actually the 13th anniversary of my mother's passing," said Hill.
"She passed away in 2002 from breast cancer. And so it's especially important to me and it's why I do what I do and it's in honor of her today."
The Pink Ribbon Fund is an organization that provides compassion and financial assistance to Pine Belt residents for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
The organization services 17 different counties in the Pine Belt region.
"No one is paid," CEO and Co-Founder Susan Light said.
"Everything we need gets donated or sponsored. One hundred percent of donations are actually used to help the patients."
Awards were presented to races winners.
There were also awards for best costume and best decorated stroller.
An after party was held after the race inside of the Barn at Bridlewood.
