Admission is free to all five games, but donations will be accepted for breast cancer awareness.
The Golden Eagles will be split up into two squads with senior pitchers Luke Lowery and Cody Livingston each serving as a head coach for one of the teams.
The series opens with a 6 p.m., contest on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and finishes, Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. During the final game of the series, the baseball team will recognize the Waiting for a Cure Foundation.
"We have tied in our fall intra-squad world series with something we think is very important for four years now and we just feel fortunate that we are able to try and help those in need in our community that are undergoing treatment for breast cancer,” said seventh-year Southern Miss baseball coach Scott Berry.
The completion of the series will conclude fall practice for the Golden Eagle squad. The 2016 season begins Friday, Feb. 19, when the Golden Eagles host Eastern Illinois at 4 p.m.
