Hattiesburg Junior Auxiliary donates $18K to USM's Dubard School

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Students at The University of Southern Mississippi's DuBard School for Language Disorders will soon be getting some new hi-tech tools which will help them in the classroom.

And it is all because of a generous donation from the members of the Junior Auxiliary of Hattiesburg.

On Wednesday, the JA's donated $18,267.10 to the school.

The money will be used to purchase 33 new iPads for students.

After an official check presentation, about one dozen JA members helped the students with a fall art project.
