SEMINARY, MS (WDAM) -

A Pine Belt man's proposal using his newest bundle of joy is being called "the sweetest proposal ever" on social media.

Michael Miles of Seminary knew all along that he wanted his little girl Lynleigh to help him propose to his fiance' Triston Lowery.

Lynleigh made her arrival into the world on Thursday night around 8:06 p.m.

Miles said figuring out how to propose to Triston with the baby was the hardest part.

"Everyone knew I was going to propose to her, and I knew I wanted the baby to have something to do with it from the get-go," Miles said."I just didn't know how I was going to do it."

Miles said that is when his mother suggested a onesie that read "Will you marry my Daddy?"

"I thought that was a great idea, so I went and bought the ring, and got the shirt made," Miles said.

Miles said the tricky part was setting it up at the hospital.

"We had our nurse, Lauren, trick Triston into thinking the baby had to go get a hearing test done," Miles said. "She was actually about to change shifts, and my mother was running late with the ring, so everyone was huddled in the hall trying to get everything set up."

Miles said Triston had no idea any of the madness was going on outside of the hospital room.

"Once we got everything together, the nurse wheeled in the baby and handed her to Triston. She was shocked," Miles said.

According to Miles, a friend of the family filmed the proposal and uploaded it to Facebook that night.

"It was like a wildfire. It just took off," Miles said. "I woke up this morning, and over 130,000 people had viewed it."

Miles said his family is now back at home, and Triston and the baby are doing well.
