Police: Laurel man caught selling drugs at hotel

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - On Thursday the Laurel Police Department arrested Christopher Walters, 44,  for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Authorities made the arrest after receiving a tip that Walters was at a local hotel selling narcotics, according to a Laurel Police Department news release.

Agents and officers responded to this hotel where they made contact with Walters and recovered 15 grams of methamphetamine from Walters.

Walters bond will be set Monday in Laurel Municipal Court by Judge Robertson.

Walters is currently on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections and may remain in jail due to the fact that M.D.O.C does have a hold on him for a possible revocation.
