JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A two-vehicle collision on Highway 11 at the Jones- Forrest County line sent a former University of Southern Mississippi baseball player to the hospital Monday morning.

A Jeep Cherokee clipped a GMC pickup, causing the vehicle to roll several times.

James McMahon, a former pitcher for the USM baseball team, was injured in the wreck.

According to his grandfather, McMahon was driving the GMC pickup that rolled over.

McMahon and was sent to the hospital with injuries.

McMahon was treated and released, according to Forrest General's media coordinator Amanda Kirby.
