LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - On Oct. 1, officers of the Laurel Police Department's Patrol Division responded to an armed robbery complaint at Wards on 16th Ave.
Witnesses reported that a black male displayed a handgun and demanded money from the store.
The suspect fled on foot, and no injuries were reported.
On Tuesday, officers took Michael J. Jordan, 26, into custody without incident.
Jordan faces one count of armed robbery and will have his initial appearance in Laurel Municipal Court Wednesday.
