HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A Hattiesburg church invited folks to help them celebrate German food and culture Saturday.
The congregation of St. John Lutheran Church hosted the 38th annual Oktoberfest.
The event had plenty of German food and music and a few people were even dressed in traditional German clothing.
Proceeds from the festival help fund the church's mission work in the U.S. and around the world.
Oktoberfest in Germany dates back about 200 years, and was originally a wedding festival.
