LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - Children of all ages are invited to drop by the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art Saturday for a free hands-on arts event.
The 23rd annual Heritage Arts Festival will feature lots of projects for kids to work on.
And one can enjoy live music.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and includes a free pizza lunch.
This year's theme is "Sunshine in the Pines."
"We've got different art stops for them, so they can do everything from make metallic fish, there's a bead activity, we always have a mural activity, there's collage work," said George Bassi, director of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art.
The festival is being held in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month.
