FORREST COUNTY (WDAM) - Two groups of protesters stood outside different openings of the Cole Bros. Circus Wednesday evening at the Forrest County multi-purpose center.

They are concerned about the treatment of circus animals.

Miah Crosby was protesting there with her four children.

Their signs read: "Mother elephants in the circus cannot help their babies, but we can. Never take your children to the circus."

They have been standing outside the circus tents since 3:30 p.m. They will be back tomorrow at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
