LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - An annual arts and crafts event in downtown Laurel this weekend will also be a bird and beer lover's delight.
The Loblolly Festival will have plenty of food, clothing and other items to purchase, but it will also, for the first time, feature an exhibit of large birds, such as owls and hawks.
Folks wanting to quench their thirst can also visit the beverage wagon at Pinehurst Park, where they can sample craft beer from Laurel's own Slowboat Brewing Co.
Several live performers will also take the stage during the day, including Ellisville blues legend Tommy "T-Bone" Pruitt.
The festival hours are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
