LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - The democratic candidate for lieutenant governor of Mississippi made a stop in Laurel Thursday.
Tim Johnson greeted citizens and supporters to tell them why he believes he is the better choice for lieutenant governor.
Johnson said if elected, his top priority would be to expand Medicaid and to help the state's educational system.
Johnson also used Wednesday's platform to challenge Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves, to a debate.
Tim Johnson was a former republican senator who switched to the Democratic Party earlier in 2015.
