BILOXI, MS - This is a news release from John Dixon & Associates
Biloxi will take center stage in a series of auctions that will feature a gulf view hotel site and waterfront residential land. John Dixon & Associates will manage the auctions, which will also include 365 acres in Milton, Florida on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
"This Milton land is just off Interstate 10, less than an hour from the ports of Mobile and only minutes from Port Pensacola. Transportation is a huge plus for this site, with over 1.3 miles of frontage on the CSX rail line. With Pensacola's deep water ports, the possibilities are endless for a wide range of uses, including materials, machinery or warehousing," said John Dixon, president of the auction company.
On Wednesday, Oct. 14, the John Dixon team will move to the Holiday Inn Biloxi for the auction of commercial and residential land, beginning with 3.04 acres of gulf-view commercial and residential land on West Beach Boulevard, in Long Beach. "This land, which includes both commercial and residential, is on the corner of West Beach Boulevard and Marcie Drive. The residential portion adjoins Arbor Station Apartment Homes and is just across the street from the gulf," said Dixon.
Also selling in the Oct. 14 event will be approximately 6.85 acres of multi-family residential land fronting on Back Bay. "All of this land has great views of Back Bay, and it's zoned for low-density residential," said Dixon.
A final property could become the site of a new hotel or commercial building. A commercial/hotel site at 2400 Beach Boulevard will sell in a sealed bid auction, with bids due by 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. "You rarely see a hotel site like this one -- squarely across the street from the beach and public pier. It's approximately 8.34 acres and adjoins the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center," said Dixon.
