Mississippi - Starting Nov. 9, Mississippi Power customers will be able to receive refunds either in the form of a credit or a check.
The refund selection filing process started Monday morning.
The Public Service Commission has given the power company 120 days to complete the refund process.
Mississippi Power Public Relations spokesman Jeff Shepard said the company wants to educate customers about the different ways they can receive their refunds
"We want customers to make an informed decision on what is the best situation for them," Shepard said. "You know commercial customers, industrial customers, and residential customers. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on what may work best for them."
