Hattiesburg author brings biblical characters to life in enlightening new book

HATTIESBURG, MS - This is a news release from Key Marketing Group

Author Thomas McSwain Jr. gains life lessons from the lives in the Bible in the nationwide release of his new religious book, "Don't Fight the Darkness: Promotion God's Way."

McSwain believes that everyone is woven from the same fabric as biblical characters. In "Don't Fight the Darkness," readers will learn from the lives of a bastardly offspring, a red-light district doll, a stammering murderer, a sheepish boy-king and a band of misfit ragamuffins; how God promotes through commonplace tasks like fishing, sheepherding; and teaching to not so ordinary jobs like spying, prostituting and surrogating.

Through this book, the author depicts that God will comfort his people's weeping with the brilliance of his glorious joy as he unleashes their potential to fulfill his promises.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

McSwain serves as a passionate husband, father and pastor-teacher, who is committed to global missions. He is also an 82nd Airborne Division veteran, who appreciates art and enjoys traveling abroad and writing. McSwain, who earned his bachelors degree of general studies in religion from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, has also obtained a master's degree in Christian studies emphasis in pastoral ministry from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. The author lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with his wife and four children.
