Hattiesburg holds public hearing before budget vote

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The City of Hattiesburg will hold a public hearing Tuesday, September 8 at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

The city council is expected to vote on the city's budget after the meeting, which could include an ad valorem tax increase.

The council will convene at 4 p.m. for a work session and agenda review. The public hearing will follow at 6 p.m. in the council chambers, which will be followed by the council's regular meeting for voting.
