Two week investigation leads to drug arrest in Laurel

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - On Wednesday Laurel Narcotics Division executed a search warrant after a two week investigation and seized about a gram of heroin, 18 Percocet and $1,040.00 in cash from a Laurel man.

This led to the arrest of David Perry, 47, for possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of a schedule II narcotics, Percocet, with intent to distribute.

Perry will appear in Laurel Municipal Court on Friday for his bond hearing.

However, Perry's bond will be revoked from previous charges that he had when he was arrested in March 2015.

The previous charges were also possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of Percocet with intent to distribute.
