The Bay Springs Police department is warning people about a scam circulating through their city.

Police Chief Raymond Delk says his department has received several reports of people being contacted by someone claiming to be with Walmart.

According to Delk the caller says Walmart overcharged them during their last visit.

The caller then asks for the victim's account information in order to credit back the fee. This is a scam.
