FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

A search team has found a woman that went missing Saturday night in Petal, according to authorities.

Forrest County emergency responders found Dorothy Lee Magee, 65, in the woods early Sunday morning.

She is being checked out by medical personnel.

Magee went missing Saturday night around 7 p.m. on Southgate Drive near Petal at the Mini Farm subdivision.

"She does suffer from dementia, and is an insulin dependent diabetic, so it is important we locate her quick," said Forrest County a Emergency Management Director Glen Moore.

Crews have searched since last night in a large square area around her home on Southgate Drive.

"We have used multiple crews, and now we are bringing in a fresh crew of dogs and searchers to continue," Moore said.

"According to family members it's very unlike her to walk off, she doesn't really like to walk according to them," Moore said.
