HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

A pesky little varmint decided that the USM administration building was his domain this morning, and would not allow employees to access the building.

WDAM photographer Mon Mussiet reports that a possum was blocking the entrance to the Aubrey K. Lucas administration building, hissing at passerbys.

Mussiet loaned USM police chief Bob Hopkins his monopod for his camera so he could shoo away the animal.

No one was injured in the incident, but many laughs were had.
