City of Hattiesburg makes website more user-friendly

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The City of Hattiesburg has unveiled the latest version of it's website, and wants the citizens to know a few of its new features.

It's an update of their current website but with a few changes to make things easier to use.

The website offers new accessibility to the city council's agenda, public hearings, and even a feature for providing directions to any part of town. Residents  can even pay their water bills online.

"All of the information is right there in front of you. You don't have to dig for it and it's very accessible, as soon as you come to the homepage that exactly is what it is, it's the home of Hattiesburg so we want to provide everything for you right there," said Nicholas Williams, City of Hattiesburg website specialist."We wanted to make sure it's very friendly to everyone who come to our site."

On the new home page there's an icon that also puts the public in-touch with the city's Action Center.

If the public has any suggestions they can contact them on any of their social media site on Facebook and Twitter.
