SLIDESHOW: The best cities for singles

Forbes released a list of the best cities for singles.

A survey by Nerd Wallet listed the top 20 cities in the nation for single men and women. The survey broke down the top 10 cities for single women, and the top 10 cities for single men.

The data was collected for the survey to determine the city rankings included Census data for date-friendliness, entertainment businesses and restaurants per 1,000 residents, as well as the percentage of unmarried people.

Once this data was collected, it was compared against the number of single men to single women per 1000 people in each area.
