Osher Lifelong Learning Institute to Host Open House, Fall Course Sneak Peek August 18

LONG BEACH, MS (WDAM) -

The following is a news release from The University of Southern Mississippi

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at The University of Southern Mississippi’s Gulf Park campus will host an open house and sneak peek of fall courses Tuesday, August 18 at 3 p.m. in the Fleming Education Center auditorium on the Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach.

OLLI is a Southern Miss program open to the community and offers classes, seminars, field trips and social activities designed for people age 50 and older. Annual membership is $40 and courses are offered over five weeks or as a two-hour seminar. Participants learn about topics in a variety of areas, and the program offers more than 60 courses and events on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Of 119 OLLI’s across the country, OLLI at Southern Miss is the only one located in the state of Mississippi. For more information, call 601.264.2780 or email olli@usm.edu.
