Hattiesburg police are searching for a suspect involved in an early morning stabbing that injured two people.

Hattiesburg Police Lt. Jon Traxler said officers responded to a stabbing around 3:30 a.m. at Plantation Place Apartments on Monday.

"When officers arrived they found two victims, a male and a female suffering from stab wounds," Traxler said.

Traxler said the two people were transported by ambulance to Forrest General Hospital, where they are both listed in stable condition.

According to Lt. Jon Traxler, the alleged suspect they are searching for is Branden Williams, 31. The photo released by police is an older photo, and they say he now has dreads.
