HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A man wanted for attempted murder out of Ohio has been arrested in the Hub City.

Robert W. Bradley III, 42, was arrested Thursday morning by members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force in south Hattiesburg.

Bradley was wanted for attempted murder after police say a fight in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with his long-time girlfriend caused serious injuries.

Shaker Heights Police Department Detective Linda Dietz said the incident happened late at night on April 24th, and the victims injures were serious enough for her to be hospitalized.

"This is something we are very glad to get resolved and to have him in custody," said Dietz.

Police say Bradley had a friend that was a possible connection to Hattiesburg, and were able to track him to the Hub City area with the help of the Marshals Task Force.

Bradley is currently being housed at the Forrest County Jail before Ohio authorities take him back to Shaker Heights.
