(The following is a press release from Camp Shelby.)

CAMP SHELBY, Miss. (21 July 2015) - A Vietnam War helicopter on display at the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum, located at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, will be dedicated in honor of Dr. Mac Huddleston of Pontotoc, Mississippi on July 29, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
Dr. Huddleston is a veterinarian and member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, District 15, Pontotoc.  During a visit to the museum in 2009, Representative Huddleston unexpectedly found a photograph on display of his helicopter landing on a small riverine boat and advised the museum director, Mr. Chad Daniels that the photograph originated from Mr. Courtney Frobenius of Olympia, Washington. Mr. Frobenius is a Vietnam veteran of the riverine force and assisted Professor Andrew Wiest in the creation of the University of Southern Mississippi's Vietnam Studies Program. The photograph, along with many others from Mr. Frobenius, was shared with the museum via the University of Southern Mississippi's Dale Center for the Study of War and Society as part of a collection about the riverine force in Vietnam.
The helicopter is an UH-1 "Huey" (more properly known as the UH-1 Iroquois) and bears the markings of then Lieutenant Mac "Doc" Huddleston's helicopter during his service with the 9yh Division in the Mekong Delta during the Vietnam War.
