LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Lamar County authorities are investigating an early morning break-in at an Oloh service station.

“When they were opening the store this morning around 4:30 they discovered the damage where suspects attempted to steal the ATM from inside the business,” said Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel.

Rigel said there are multiple suspects involved in the burglary that occurred just before 3 a.m. at the Keith's Superstore 8431 U.S. 98, and a truck they are currently looking for.

“The suspects attempted to remove the ATM from the store with a vehicle but were unsuccessful,” said Rigel.

Authorities are searching for a Chevrolet GMC 4 door work truck with flatbed toolboxes on the sides of the truck bed.

According to Rigel no other items were stolen from the store, however a significant amount of damage was done to the front of the store.

If you have any information about the suspects or the incident, contact the sheriff’s department at 601-794-1005.
