WAYNE COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department hopes new images will help solve a bank break-in.

Photos of a white truck at a service station have been released. Investigators believe the truck is associated with the man who broke into the First State Bank in Buckatunna July 5.

According to the sheriff’s department, the images were captured just minutes after the break-in by surveillance cameras posted at a business next door to the bank.

“It appears it’s a white older model early 2000 Chevrolet Z-71 full drive pick-up,” said Investigator Jamey Beard. “We know it was occupied by a single white male.”

Investigators believe matching the person with the vehicle may help in making an arrest. If you have any information on the suspect’s identity, call the sheriff’s department at 601-735-2323.
