HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The reunion of classmates from Eureka, Rowan and Hattiesburg High Schools continued Friday with a Western themed luncheon.

"Beyond my expectation," reunion chairperson Annie Jones said of the successes of the week's activities.

Jones, a 1964 graduate of Rowan High, was joined by hundreds of others from the three schools, with the oldest alumni in attendance representing the 1940 Eureka High class.

"This is my home," said George Goudy, a 1970 Rowan graduate.

Goudy has lived in Herzogenaurauch, Germany, for many years, but he returns to Hattiesburg for each EUROHA reunion, which is now held every two years.

"I get to meet people that I haven't seen in 45 years," he said.

EUROHA expanded its classes this year, including Hattiesburg High School for the first time, thus changing the reunion name from EURO to EUROHA.
