HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Conference USA announced Monday that five Southern Miss football games will be telecast this fall by the American Sports Network (ASN).
Southern Miss will be featured three times at home and twice on the road by the network. The assigned home contests for ASN broadcasts include the Sept. 12 Austin Peay game, which will start at 2:30 p.m., as well as the school's Oct. 17 homecoming affair against UTSA which is scheduled for a 6 p.m., kickoff. The Golden Eagles' final home game against Old Dominion, Nov. 21, will also be shown with a start time of 2:30 p.m.
The Golden Eagle road games that have been picked up by the network are the Charlotte (Oct. 24) and Rice (Nov. 14) contests. The game time for the 49ers affair is 11 a.m., while the kickoff in Houston against the Owls is slated for 2:30 p.m.
Southern Miss now has 10 games set to be broadcast for the 2015 as the Sun Belt Conference announced last week that the Golden Eagles' game at Texas State set for Sept. 19, can be viewed on ESPN3. No game time has been announced yet for that contest.
