HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - This is a news release from The Miss Hospitality Pageant
Olivia Sanguinetti will represent Hattiesburg in the 66th Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant on July 31 - August 1 at the Saenger Theater in Downtown Hattiesburg.
Sanguinetti is a Junior at Mississippi State University where she is majoring in communication with an emphasis in public relations. She is a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority where she is the chair of social events and a MSU Foundation Ambassador where she serves as a treasurer.
Sanguinetti will be one of 30 contestants competing for the title of Mississippi Miss Hospitality and more than $100,000 in scholarships and prizes. This year's theme, "A Moment to Celebrate" guarantees excitement by experiencing a calendar year of celebrations all in one night on the big stage.
During the Pageant Week, local Miss Hospitalities will also take part in rehearsals, tours, interviews and special events. The week will conclude with two nights of competition – beginning on Friday, July 31 at 8pm and concluding on Saturday, August 1 at 8pm at the Historic Saenger Theater in Downtown Hattiesburg.
For 66 years, Mississippi Miss Hospitality has continued the tradition of grace while touring the state to promote Mississippi's tourism and economic development. For the past year, Bonnie Blue Dulaney has traveled more than 30,000 miles representing the state as its Goodwill Ambassador.
