Downtown Thursdays retuns to Laurel. Downtown Thursdays retuns to Laurel.

Downtown Thursdays is returning to the City of Laurel.

Every Thursday beginning June 4, Downtown Laurel will have its farmer's market and movie night.

The first farmer's market of the season will start this week at 4 p.m.

“We have some new farmers so I want everybody to come and see what they have to offer,” said Laurel Main Street Executive Director Judi Holifield. “We have some new crafters; we've got some new young people that are going to be providing vegetables, honey, different things. It just looks like the best market we've ever had.”

After the market, Downtown Movie Night will kick off their free summer entertainment series with Big Hero 6. All movies will show at approximately 8 p.m. at Pinehurst Park, across the street from Laurel City Hall.
