    Just days after being sentenced to 42 months in prison, a Gulf Coast doctor has filed for an appeal of his convictions and denial of his motion for a new trial. Lawyers on behalf of Albert Diaz filed the paperwork for a notice of appeal on June 18.  District Judge Keith Starrett Diaz handed down his sentence on June 7 at the William J.
