Numerous showers and storms are spreading northward across the area. Strong storms are possible this afternoon and into the evening. Our main concerns are strong wind gusts, frequent lightning, heavy rain, and small hail.
Folks along the coast, particularly Harrison and Jackson Counties, are experiencing localized flooding as these slow-moving storms move onshore. I'll keep you updated on the potential for inland flooding as the day progresses.
Storm activity should begin to quiet late this evening. Overnight lows near 70 degrees.
