C Spire updates its cable TV and internet in Flora to fiber optic connection

FLORA, MS -

This is a news release from C Spire

Flora, a small Mississippi town best known as the gateway to Mississippi's 36 million-year-old petrified forest, may soon be famous for another reason - availability of some of the fastest Internet access in the world.

Flora already receives cable TV and Internet service from C Spire, but the company is upgrading its fiber optic connections – opening up the opportunity for the town's 1,886 residents to keep a modified version of their existing service or choose from a suite of next-generation services, including 100 times faster Internet, Super HD™ TV and home phone.

"With the transition to this new infrastructure platform, we're excited to offer Flora residents the option of updating to our Gigabit Internet and related services," said Suzy Hays, senior vice president for Consumer Markets for C Spire.
