1 injured, 2 sought in Hub City weekend shooting

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg Police are now looking for two suspects in connection to a Saturday shooting that sent one to a local hospital.

Damion Robertson and Randall Bridges are wanted in connection to a fight that resulted in a shooting just before 5 p.m. Saturday.

Hattiesburg Police responded to the scene of a shooting in the 3800 block of Eagle Drive, where one person was transported to Forrest General Hospital, suffering from appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The injuries the victim received are believed to be non-life threatening.

According to the Hattiesburg Police Department the pair frequents Overlook Apartments, Plantation Place Apartments and the Executive Inn (Inn on the Hill) in Hattiesburg.

    The City of Hattiesburg is urging motorists to use caution Thursday morning in various areas of the city due to utility work. Pearl River Valley Electric began work on switching out a transformer at 6 a.m.  So, traffic lights at US 98 and Hwy 11, US 98 and Lake Forgetful and US 98 and Cross Creek Parkway are expected to experience some downtime .  The Hattiesburg Police Department will be directing traffic in those areas to offer support in the event downtime does occur.&n...More >>
