D.R.E.A.M. of Hattiesburg to host conference at WCU

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

This is a news release from D.R.E.A.M. of Hattiesburg

D.R.E.A.M. of Hattiesburg Inc. will host the "Substance Abuse and Your Congregation" conference from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on April 23 in the Kresge and Glass rooms of Thomas Business Building at the Hattiesburg campus of William Carey University.

The conference is designed to better equip clergy members in dealing with alcohol and drug problems within their churches. Topics of interest include alcohol and substance abuse resources; an overview and discussion of the 12-step recovery program; current alcohol and drug trends; and signs and symptoms of alcohol and drug abuse.
