VIDEO: Police searching for alleged Honey Bun bandit

ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

A suspect who was captured on security camera after a theft at an Ellisville laundry mat is being sought by police for vandalism and larceny.

According to the Ellisville Police Department, the theft happened April 10 at 11:45 p.m. at the Laundry Center on Laurel Street.

"The damage to the machine was actually about $200 worth of damage then there's about $50 worth of products that he stole from the vending machine after he broke the glass,” said Investigator Christy Carona. “The items that he took from the machine were Honey Buns, cookies, M&M's, Snickers and Skittles.”

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect in the photograph is asked to contact the Ellisville Police Department at 601-477-9252 or Jones County Crime Stoppers at 601-428-STOP.
