HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - If you're looking for a good way to spend Good Friday night, you could head to Hattiesburg's 19th Ave. Baptist Church for the first of four live performances highlighting the final hours of Christ's ministry on Earth.
The 5th annual program is called, "The Last 4 Days," and it will take place Apr. 3,4 and 6 at 7 p.m.
It will also be held Easter Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
It will focus on the important moments in Jesus' final days, including his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension.
"It is an Easter gift to Hattiesburg, but it's probably the most significant gift for the believer, because Easter is the most important thing, as we realize what Jesus Christ did for us," said Rev. Monty Bounds, pastor of 19th Ave. Baptist Church.
About 60 church members are involved in the production.
