FORREST COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A father and son are behind bars and facing a $15,000 bond each in connection to a Forrest County residential burglary.
Leslie Welch, 48, and Joshua Welch, 26, were arrested Thursday in connection to a March 30th residential burglary that occurred on Barrontown Road.
According to Forrest County Sheriff's investigators, the burglary occurred between the hours of 4 and 10 p.m. on March 30th. Investigators stated that electronics were the items stolen from the residence during the crime.
"Investigators a questioned several individuals including the father and son and it was later determined that they had the stolen property," said Forrest County Sheriff Investigator Nick Calico.
The pair appeared in court this morning, where their bond was set at $15,000 each, for their residential burglary charges.
The property was recovered during the course of the investigation.
